AWANA is a children’s program that breeds excitement! Your kids will want to come back again and again for the high-energy competitive games, the individual challenge of Bible verse memorization, the unique bonding with their peers, the age-relevant lessons for life, and the great prizes….
Give it a shot! Bring your kids and just listen to them rave about it on the ride back home!
Available on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM during the school year, for kids from 3 years old through 6th grade.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Time: Sundays at 9:45am
Want your family to dig deeper into God’s Word? Need each member to feel the supreme importance of God in their lives? Then make that extra effort to come to Sunday school and experience the blessing of every individual in your family receiving sound biblical teaching at their own level.
Tots — ages 2-4
Beginners — Pre-K through 1st Grade
Primary — 2nd through 4th Grades
Middle — 5th and 6th Grades Youth Group — Junior High and High School
NURSERY
Ages 0-2
The Nursery is available at ALL regular meeting times at BBC, on both Sundays and Wednesday nights.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children's church is available for ages 2-5 during the second half of the Sunday morning Worship service (after the praise songs and hymns). The kids enjoy singing; an active, hands-on Bible study; and snacks.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Junior church is available for ages 6-9 during the second half of the Sunday morning Worship service.
SPECIAL EVENTS
KICK IT!
A new SUMMER activity is coming this year, with a soccer camp element, cool songs that “Kick It For Jesus,” and a BIG Bible Study. (Be on the lookout for a LIFE-SIZED Goliath!)
We like to have a summer program to keep our kids involved when AWANA is not in session, and this year is not different in that sense…. EXCEPT this year we plan to switch from Wednesday night to Saturday mornings at 9 AM. And the switch will be well worth it!
The GOAL is for our kids to interact with the Gospel of Jesus Christ week after week, and also experience a character challenge.
Furthermore, it’s an exciting opportunity for our young adults and teens to develop their leadership, teaching, and service skills for God’s glory.

VBS
Vacation Bible School is all about total immersion! For five straight days the kids dive into God’s Word, each day with a new key lesson for their lives. The really cool part is that there are stories to hear, verses to memorize, new songs to learn, and even crafts to create—all that work towards deepening the children’s understanding of the day’s lesson as well as challenging them to put it into practice. If that’s not enough, game time and snacks will keep the kids coming back for more! And to top it all off, the kids put on a show the final day of VBS to daringly display to their parents all they’ve learned.
This year’s VBS was called "Rome: Paul & The Underground Church." The kids had a blast and learned great truths from God's Word.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Are your girls drama queens? And are your boys real characters? Then there’s a great opportunity for them to be involved in a Christmas Play that ministers to the entire BBC congregation at Christmas-time. Practices begin in the early fall, so keep your eyes peeled at that time to enroll your kids in the next big hit.
Last year’s play was a musical entitled, Meet Me at the Manger, about a Scrooge-like store owner who learned the true meaning of Christmas from children spreading Christ’s love through song.
